Race Bandits are runners that participate in a race but didn’t pay an entry fee.

In the past, it is estimated that there have been as many as 300 RACE BANDITS that caused problems with finishing positions and times assigned to the people who registered and paid.

Runners without a valid race bib will not be allowed to complete the race. You will be physically stopped and will not be allowed to enter the finisher chute.

MOMS ON THE RUN IS A COMPLETELY VOLUNTEER EVENT. We have no paid executive director or other person receiving compensation or piece of the action other than the part-time bookkeeper. Please be part of a unique community fund raiser benefiting women with breast cancer. REGISTER and PAY.

Our goal of this event is to raise funds to assist local women with breast cancer with specific needs. The funds raised are primarily in the form of registration fees paid by those that participate in the walk or run. Often any insurance they might have covers only portions of their medical bills from chemotherapy, radiation and other medical treatments or doctor visits. It is also common that they are not able to work during treatment. With limited income they cannot pay their rent, groceries, prescriptions, clothing and school supplies for their children. This is where Moms on the Run and the funds raised at our event come into play. We are a charitable fund raiser event first and a road race second. Please respect the efforts of our volunteers and sponsors and join us in supporting these women that need our help.

Don’t be a bandit - it messes it up for others.
